Cisco Nexus 1000V for VMware vSphere 4.0

This folder contains the Nexus 1000V Virtual Supervisor Module(VSM) in three formats and the Virtual Ethernet Module(VEM) in two formats and the Cisco NX-OS Licensing and Copyright document.
VSM:
----
1. ISO - nexus-1000v.4.0.4.SV1.1.iso
2. OVA - Nexus1000v-4.0.4.SV1.1.ova
3. OVF - Nexus1000v_ovf/Nexus1000v-4.0.4.SV1.1.ovf
The VSM is supported on both VMware VI 3.5 and VMware vSphere 4.0 Systems.
ISO:
ISO format can be used to install the Nexus1000V on a user created VSM VM. This can be used on both VMware VI 3.5 and VMware vSphere 4.0 Systems.
OVA:
The OVA file can be used to deploy the Nexus1000V VSM VM appliance. This can be used only on VMware vSphere 4.0 Systems.
OVF:
The OVF format is available in the Nexus1000v_ovf folder. There are two files that go together (Nexus1000v-4.0.4.SV1.1.ovf and Nexus1000v-4.0.4.SV1.1.vmdk). The OVF file requires that the vmdk file is available in the same folder. This can be used to deploy the VSM VM on both VMware VI 3.5 and VMware vSphere 4.0 systems.
VEM:
----
Installation with VMware Update Manager is the recommended installation procedure when installing the VEM. These files are only required when performing a manual installation of the VEM using CLI.

Where to Get:
-------------
Cisco Nexus 1000V VEM for VMware patch releases are available either
through the VMware or Cisco Website. There are differences in VEM bundles
for classic and visor platforms.
Classic ESX platform:
The same VEM bundle is available on both VMware and Cisco
sites. It can be used for installation or upgrade of VEM.
Visor ESXi platform:
The Nexus 1000V bundle posted on VMware contains both Nexus
1000V software and the corresponding VMware patch. This can
be used for installation or upgrade of VEM.
The Nexus 1000V bundle posted on Cisco site contains only Nexus
1000V software and can be used only for installation.
Note for Patch01 there is only Nexus 1000V bundle for Visor platforms.
There is no corresponding patch01 bundle for Classic platforms.
For upgrading existing installations:

Please use the Nexus 1000V bundle posted on VMware. The Nexus 1000V bundle
posted on VMware contains both Nexus 1000V software and the corresponding
VMware patch.
For new install:

For New Install, either the bundle in this zip or the bundle posted on VMware
can be used.
Online Bundle Installation:
---------------------------
To load the patch release using an online bundle, please consult
your VUM documentation.
Offline Bundle Installation:

Using the vCLI, execute the following command:
vihostupdate -i -b <offline bundle> --server \
